Donna M. Konopka

Donna M. Konopka was born in Philadelphia to Walter Konopka and the late Rosemary Murphy Konopka. She passed away in the early morning hours of  August 8, 2022 in Bryn Mawr. 

Born and raised in Fishtown she attended St. Laurentius School and went on to graduate from John W. Hallahan High School for Girls.  Donna worked in the medical field as a Surgical Technician.  She had a love for the beach at Seaside Heights and the arcade.  Donna enjoyed the Christmas holiday and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She also liked cooking and having BBQ's, while drinking her Arctic Splash and sitting outside with the neighbors. 

Devoted mother to Jamie Ricketts (Christian) loving Mom-Mom to Christian Jr and Aria Rose. In addition to her father,  she is also survived by her brother Michael and her closest friends,  Toni Tonzelli and Linda Stine.    

Donna will be sadly missed by her extended family, friends and neighbors. Donna is now at peace with her Mother watching over us in Heaven. May her memories always live with us.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, August 15, 2022, beginning at 9 AM, in St. Anne's Church, where her Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM.
