Doris was born in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Louise Horle Walden. She had worked for about 15 years in the Deli department at the Acme Market at Aramingo. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of her favorite pastimes was watching the Hallmark Channel, especially the Christmas movies. Doris enjoyed her vacations with the family in Wildwood.
She is the devoted wife of the late Joseph J. Buggey,Sr. Beloved mother of Sheryl Dearns, Joseph Buggey, Jr., Francis C. Buggey (Nancy), James M. Buggey, John E. Buggey and Christopher R. Buggey (Carol). She will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, September 1, 2023, beginning at 9 AM and to her Funeral Service at 11 AM, in the HUBERT M. McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 2357 East Cumberland Street Phila 19125. She will be laid to rest with her husband at North Cedar Hill Cemetery immediately following.
