Doris E. Hess (nee Morgan) passed away at Temple University Hospital on June 27, 2019. She was 90 years old. She is the beloved wife of the late Russell. Devoted mother of the late Colleen. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters.

Doris will be remembered as an independent woman who held various jobs as a factory worker, while raising her family. She worked for the Sugarhouse and also for Estee Lauder cosmetics. She would also do all of her home repairs and car repairs on her own. In her downtime, she loved to fish and visit the shore and enjoyed socializing with the group The Dollies. She also enjoyed being with her family. They will remember her for her quick wit and humor. One of their fond memories with their Aunt Doris was her 90th birthday party just this year.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Burial and Committal service Friday July 19, 2019 promptly at 12 noon in Oakland Cemetery (Ramona Ave. and Adams Ave. Philadelphia PA 19124) Please arrive at 11:45am at main gate.  She will be laid to rest along with her beloved daughter Colleen.
