Doris J. McCullough

Doris June Decker Fra Cooke McCullough passed away at home on Tuesday, October 20, in the neighborhood that she loved and in which she lived most of her life, Fishtown.  She was 86 years old.  Doris lived a full life, being an ardent feminist, who promoted Womens’ rights.  In addition to being a daughter, mother, wife, sister and aunt, she as a writer, poet, actress, medical assistant, and pre-school teacher.  She loved life and loved her family. 

Doris is survived by her two daughters, Francine (Francis) and Linda (Wayne), her sister, Dorothy, her brother, Bobby, her six grand-children, four great grand-children, four nieces and two great-nieces.

We who knew her heart, energy, art, and forever master thespian spirit,  will miss her immensely.
