Doris Prosperi

Doris Prosperi, lovingly known as Aunt Dot to her family, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2023 at the age of 98. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 1, 1924.

Doris lived in Philadelphia for most of her life. She lived in Kensington, Roxborough and finally settled in Fishtown where she worked in her family's neighborhood tavern, the Moyer Inn, which was owned by her late brother Harry. Doris later moved to Bensalem and enjoyed her retirement cooking and taking trips to the casino. She also loved time spent with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Doris will be greatly missed but her family takes comfort in knowing that she is being reunited in heaven with her parents, siblings, and family members who have gone before her. In honoring Doris' wishes, all services will be private.
