Dorothy (Rychlicka) Lee

Dorothy Lee passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 81. She is the beloved wife of the late John S. Lee.  Devoted mother of  Kathleen Enggasser (Harry), John S. Lee Jr. (Patricia), Joseph (Jacqueline), Walt (Debbie).  Dear  sister Patricia Petroski (Paul) .She will be greatly missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She loved spending time with her family in Penfield, PA, in Western, PA. She called it God’s country.  She did all the cooking and planning for everyone and loved doing for her family. Mom and Dad had been going up the mountains for over 50 years. Mom slowly converted the hunting trailer to having cable and indoor plumbing.  Dad just shook his head because she took over.  Lol.   She has spent time with nieces, nephews, grandchildren and anyone else who wanted to go up.  She loved to play board games with her kids and grandkids. 

 Every family party was a big deal with mom making her famous salads.  You were sure to find her on the dance floor once the food was set up. She loved to dance any chance she got.  

She adored her Elvis which anyone would know by the Elvis bust lamps in the living room.  She was all Elvis all the time!

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Saturday January 9, 2021 beginning at 9am in the McElvarr Funeral Home 1415 East Susquehanna Ave. Philadelphia PA 19125 (Fishtown). Funeral service 10:30am. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. 

We ask that all those attending services wear a mask, maintain social distancing, and expect wait times as there is an occupancy limit in the funeral home due to the pandemic.
