Survived by her mother Patricia Wadsworth of Nebraska, her son's Andrew Muerdler of Philadelphia, Eric Smith of Lancaster, PA. Grandmother to Brooke Smith and Tagyn Muerdler. She is preceded in death by her father William Watson, her beloved sister Baby Kathryn, and her Grandmother Edna Long for whom she's named.
Dusty was born in Philadephia, moved to Minnesota at a very young age and returned to Philadelphia when she was 16. She loved being with her family growing up. Some of the best memories were family gatherings in New Jersey.
In her adult years, she moved around a lot, like the song says she was Dust in the wind.
In the end her life took a turn, like most of her life it wasn't easy. She converted to the Muslim Faith. The things she cherished the most weren't materials at all, but her granddaughters and knowing they were being loved!!! She cherished the memories she made with her family, her many nieces and nephews, as well as the friends she met along the way.
At this time there will be no services and internment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers or memorial gifts a request for monetary donations be made to the funeral home to offset the cost of final arrangements are greatly appreciated. Thank You again for your assistance during our difficult time.
