On December 25, 2021, Edward David Cuthbert passed away at home.
Deeply rooted in Port Richmond since 1960, Edward was the son of the late Edward David Cuthbert and Margaret (Kelly) Cuthbert.
He was a person who enjoyed making people laugh, helping others out when appropriate, and going above and beyond for his children in time of need. He served in the Marine Corps from 1978 to 1982, marrying Jane Stopyra on June 2, 1982 and moving on Aramingo Avenue in 1986, at around the same time being employed with the United States Postal Service, serving for over thirty-five years. His two hobbies were playing chess and bowling. Edward was a man who appreciated chess, playing in tournaments for over fifteen years. He also loved to go bowling, participating in leagues since his children could start playing, going from amateur to tournament level. No matter what ailment he faced, he was always cheerful and optimistic.
Edward is the beloved father of his three sons Edward ( Jessica ), Joseph, Michael ( Natalie ), and three daughters Heather, Sarah and Cathrin ( Corey ). He is survived by 12 grandchildren, his brother Joseph Cuthbert, and his sister Donna Perletta.
