Edward "Doupe" J. Miller

Edward J. Miller "Doupe" passed away suddenly on May 16, 2021  at the age of 26. He is the beloved son of  Denise (nee Dixon) and the late James Miller. Devoted daddy of Casey and Carson. Dear brother of Christin Murray, James Miller, Patrick Oberholtzer (Kierston), Ryan Miller, Jared Miller, Collin Miller, and the late Abigail Miller and John Miller. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins. 

Edward grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and graduated from George Washington High School. Being the true Philly guy, he was an avid sports fan and loved all of the home teams, especially the Eagles. He had a great personality and will be remembered for his funny disposition and his love of Batman.  His family will miss him so much but they take comfort that he will be reunited with his family who has gone before him and that he was greeted in heaven by his dad. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Saturday May 22, 2021 beginning at 9am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service 10:45am. 

We ask that all those attending services wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
