Ethel A. Tillger

Ethel was born in Philadelphia to the late Raymond and Ethel Lavery McNichols.  She passed away on Saturday surrounded by her loving family. 

Ethel was the managing secretary for Cosmopolitan Ladies Club, at 16th and Latimer Sts, Phila.  for 35 years,  she retired about 20 years ago.    She was a member of St. Anne's parish . 

She is the beloved wife of the late Peter M. Tillger.  Devoted mother of Susan M. Ashworth ( Steven ), Peter M. Tillger, Jr. , Teresa Tillger ( Essam Zarkali ), and Dorothy A. Tillger ( the late Edward Miller Jr. ).

Sadly missed 'Nanny' to her 12 grandchildren and 22 1/2 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Margaret C. Young ( Henry ) , John McNichols ( Cathy ), predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass, on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 10:30 AM, in St. Anne's Church ( Upper). 2328 East Lehigh Avenue,  where her viewing will begin at 9 AM. Further arrangements will be private.
