Frances “Frannie Girl” G. Jackson

Frances G. Jackson “Frannie Girl” passed away suddenly on June 14, 2023 at the age of 34. She is the beloved daughter of the late Mary D. Wilson, Thomas D. Jackson, and Rosemarie Jackson. Loving mother to Nevaeh Jackson, Brailynn Ellis, Mason Ellis, Royalty, and King Kevin. Dear sister of Ian Wilson, Tracey Donnelly, Elizabeth “Lizzie”Jackson, Christopher Johnson, Mary Carpenter, and Michael Carr. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Frances or “Frannie Girl”, as she was lovingly called by her family, was born in Philadelphia and raised in Kensington, in Visitation parish. She attended Visitation grade school and Hallahan High School for Girls.

Frannie had a love for all things beautiful and girly. She loved makeup and fashion and always looked her best. Frannie was also a creator by nature. She wrote music and poetry and loved to make homemade soaps, lotions, and oils. She wanted to start her own business doing this. 

Frannie had a heart of gold and truly cared about people. She would give you the shirt off of her back or a kind and encouraging word, even when times were tough for her.  She was loved by so many people and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Thursday, June 22, 2023 beginning at 10am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Funeral service 12pm. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests and appreciates any donations towards her final expenses.
