Francis X. Cunningham

Francis X. Cunningham passed away on Tuesday July 11, 2023 at the age of 70. Beloved son of the late Alfred and Dorothy Cunningham, brother of the late Alfred,uncle to Alfred (Kim). Cherished husband of Francine Cunningham (nee Fra). Devoted father of Jeanine and Janel Farley, Christopher and Eric Lucier, and Lynne Vanskiver (nee Lucier) (James). Loving Pop-pop to Laila, Arielle, Olivia, Everly and Autumn (due in October) and the late Nicholas. Special friend to Michael Lebowitz and Donna Souvigney. 

Francis was a true Fishtowner, born and raised, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking holiday dinners and spending time with his dogs. He enjoyed sitting on his stoop and greeting his neighbors and their dogs on their way to and from Adaire school. He enjoyed working at the corner store (Murphy’s), visiting his friends at the mountains and his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Francis was a devoted family man and would do anything for those he loved. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and Celebrate Francis' life on Tuesday July 18, 2023 at 9:30 AM and join in Words of Remembrance at 11 AM in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 East Susquehanna Avenue Fishtown.
