Francis Patrick " Fran" McDermott

Francis P. McDermott, 68, passed away peacefully at home on April 30,2022. He was the beloved Son of the late Harry and Mary (Adamczewski) McDermott. Loving Brother of Donna Franklin (Gerald).  The Best Uncle and Godfather to Jaclyn McKnight ( Lawrence). Great and Loving ,Uncle Franny to L.J. , Keegan and Quinn. Fran was a Holy Name of Jesus Graduate, North Catholic High School Class of 1972. He worked Security for The Wells Fargo Center for over the last decade. He enjoyed listening to Classic Rock Music, Cooking and most of all spending time with his Family. He was selfless, generous and will be missed deeply by those who loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather, remember and Celebrate Fran's life on Friday May 5, 2023 beginning at 8:30 AM and participate in his Memorial Service at 10:30 AM, in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 East Susquehanna Avenue, Fishtown. Interment will follow in Palmer Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers,  the family is respectfully requesting, memorial contributions to Palmer Cemetery to maintain and preserve the historic burial grounds.
