Frank T. Hand

Frank T. Hand passed away on September 24, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is the beloved husband of Patricia (née Brogan). Loving father to Brittany and Rachael. Cherished son of Frank and Gerri (née Shannon). Dear brother of Michael (Leah), Jennifer Hand-Powell (Steven) and brother in law of Edward Brogan and Mary Anne Brogan. Uncle of Haley, Molly, and Steven. Sadly missed by aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Frank grew up in the Morell Park section of Philadelphia and graduated from George Washington High School. He was employed at the Philadelphia BMC for 10 years prior to his position as an IT Desktop Manager for the Albert Einstein Health System. In his downtime, Frank enjoyed his family “home away from home”  in the Poconos. This was his true sanctuary where he could relax while hanging with friends and neighbors alike. Frank had a great love for everything football, with the Eagles at the top of his list. He also loved music and had a great appreciation for all genres of music, spanning from the Beatles to Bruno Mars. Frank had an uncanny sense of humor and was a serious prankster. You never left his presence without a smile. He was a great husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Frank will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. 
 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Thursday September 30, 2021 from 8:45-10:15am in St. Timothy Catholic Church (upper) 3001 Levick Street Philadelphia PA 19124. Funeral mass 10:30am. Interment private.
