Gail F. Banach

Gail was born in Philadelphia to the late Francis and Evelyn Pyffer.  She passed away at Nazareth Hospital. 

She attended Ferguson and Penn Treaty schools. For a while she worked at Stetson Hat Manufacturing Co. 

Gail is the mother of Walter Jr., Mark, Crystal Villamore and the late Michele and Craig. Grandmother of Kim, Dana, Melissa, Earl, Chelsea & Jessica. Sister of Carol Pyffer-Donahue (the late Joseph), Joyce Pyffer, Carol Kent and the late Jean DeFeo (Dec'd 9/2/25). Also survived by her many great-grandchildren nieces, and nephews.   Gail will be sadly missed by her sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to Gather and Remember on Saturday, April 11, 2026, beginning at 10 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM, in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 EAST SUSQUEHANNA AVE, FISHTOWN.  Further arrangements will be private.
