Born and raised in Fishtown, Gary was raised & cherished by his grandparents, the late Rita & Harold Wilson. Son of the late Gary Wilson Sr. Dear brother of Tia Wilson, Eric Wilson, Thomas Bradley, Pedro & Brionna. Loving uncle to Jace, Rowan, Tommi and Gianna. Sadly, missed by his loving girlfriend Kristina Rystar, his lifelong friends, and his extended family.
Gary was a graduate of St. Laurentius School and went on to attend North Catholic High School. He later went on to receive his degree in Substance Abuse Counseling. He carried the spirit of Fishtown with him wherever he went— funny and full of heart.
A true music lover, Gary’s life was deeply rooted in sound and song. Whether he was playing his favorite tracks, sharing lyrics that spoke to him, or simply vibing with friends, music & writing was his refuge and his joy.
Gary will be remembered for his sharp wit and a sense of humor that could catch you off guard and leave you laughing long after the moment passed. Though his path wasn’t easy, his heart was big and his presence unforgettable.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and remember Gary, on Friday June 27, 2025, beginning at 10 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 AM, in HOLY NAME OF JESUS CHURCH, 701 East Gaul St. FISHTOWN.
