Genevieve "Jenny" M. (Moegen) Bowers

Genevieve Bowers "Jenny" (nee Moegen) passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 12, 1940 to the late William and Jennie Moegen.

Jenny is the former spouse of the late Michael Cohill and Charles Bowers. Beloved mother of Kathleen Rogus (John), Theresa Presner (James), James Cohill (Maureen), Susan Rubini, William Cohill (Anne), Christine Vecchione, and the late Michael Cohill. Loving grandmother of James Cohill Jr. (Ann), Heather Yannuzzi (Patrick), Megan Skinner (Tom), Erin Cohill, Ryan Rogus (Chrissy), Sean Presner (Nicole), Corey Presner, Brian Presner, Michael Cohill III, Jeanine Connor (Jordan), Keith Higgins (Dyani), Andrew Rubini (Colleen), Justin Rubini (Karla), Alex Bosak (Dan), Tara Rispo, Steven Vecchione (Kateera), Colleen Vecchione, and the late William Cohill Jr. Loving GG to her 39 great grandchildren. Dear sister of William Moegen (Margaret) and the late Carol Moegen.  A wonderful great grandmother, grandmother, mother, sister and devoted daughter.  

Jenny retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield but her proudest career was as Mom, Grandmom, GG (great grandmom). Jenny spent a lot of her time attending the vast birthdays, communions, and events for her large family.  She made sure all her Irish clan knew they were loved.

Her visitation will be held on Friday January 19, 2024 beginning at 9:30am in St. Anne's Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19125. Her funeral mass will commence at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Magnolia Cemetery 4500 Levick Street Philadelphia, PA  19135, alongside her son and grandson.
