Geraldine P. Hughes “Gerry”, 69, suddenly passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2021. She was born on
February 13, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA. Beloved daughter of the late Harry and Loretta Prosperi. She was the devoted mother to Edmond Malseed, Stacey Malseed, Joseph Malseed (Samatha) and Kerry Ann Fars (Frank). Loving grandmother to Arielle, Aubree, Liam, Gavin, Eddie, Keegan, Brian, Charlie, Emilee, Breanna and Frankie. Cherished sister of Sandra (Christopher) Vanderstine and niece to Doris Prosperi. Sadly missed by extended family and friends.
Nothing made Gerry happier than spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite place to be was in or on the water down the Jersey shore with her family. She cherished every memory she made with her children and grandchildren. Her love for her family was unconditional.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life Tuesday November 16, 2021 beginning at 10am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service 11:30am.
