Gladys (Torres) Figueroa

Gladys Figueroa (nee Torres) went home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2021 at the age of 60. She is the beloved wife of Herminio Figueroa. Loving stepmother of Elixia Figueroa. Cherished daughter of Benjamin and Lydia (nee Morales) Torres. Dear sister of Benjamin Torres Jr. (Sandra), Migdalia Nagle (Fausto Peynado), and Anthony Torres. Sadly missed by her nephews Benjamin Torres III and Raymond Nagle III and the entire Figueroa family. Gladys will always be remembered as a positive force and was loved by all people that she came in contact with. Gladys' winning smile and bigger than life personality broke through barriers and united the masses. Although Gladys wanted the best for everyone, she would instantly let you know when you were out of line. Gladys defined true love, compassion, accountability, and was always there when you needed a caring voice to lift your spirits. Her family and friends will miss her deeply but they will forever hold her in their hearts and take comfort in knowing that God has a special dwelling for her in heaven. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation and funeral Saturday February 27, 2021 beginning at 10am in Hoffmann Funeral Home 1770 Brown Ave. Bensalem, PA 19020. Her funeral service and words of remembrance will begin at 12pm and all services will conclude by 2pm. The family would like everyone wishing to pay their respects to be able to do so. Due to occupancy restrictions surrounding Covid-19, there will be a limit in the funeral home so please expect some wait time. Also we ask that all those attending services wear a mask and maintain social distancing. The family thanks everyone for their love and support during this time. For those unable to attend services in person, we will be live-streaming the 12pm service through Facebook “live” on the McElvarr Funeral Home Facebook page.
