Gloria Baron Rogove , 91, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Abramson Center for Jewish Life. Born April 12, 1928, in Philadelphia, to the late Charles and Ray Smith Baron. Gloria was a stunning young lady that would illuminate a room. She was a graduate of Carnell High School. She was a model for Lord and Taylor, a luxury department store located in Jenkintown, PA. Gloria would then move into high-end retail with her husband and the love of her life, Sidney Rogove. Gloria and Sidney were married for 61 years. Their love for each other was like no other; they were inseparable. They traveled the world together and would eventually retire in Scottsdale, Arizona. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends when she lived at the Regency Apts. She enjoyed conversations about history and politics, she was an avid reader. Gloria lived for her family; it was her greatest passion. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Michelle Coggins Rogove, as well as by her two grandchildren David Coggins and Michael Coggins and three great-grandchildren, Sidney Coggins (named after his great grandfather Sidney Rogove), Baylyn Coggins and Meyer Coggins. She was predeceased by her beloved Sidney, her son Joseph Rogove and brother Lewis Baron. Gloria had a huge heart; she was loved and admired by many. The family is grateful for her doctors at the Abramson Center, in North Whales, PA. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, at the address below. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at 2 PM in the Mausoleum Chapel at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Trevose, PA . She will be interred next to her beloved Sidney, following the service.
