Gloria M. Torriero

Gloria M. Torriero passed away unexpectedly at home on September 13, 2024. She was born on June 9, 1941 in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Helen (nee Jackulski) Torriero.

Gloria is the beloved wife of the late George T. Heim. Devoted mother of Angelina Schmidt (the late Joseph), Julianna Joseph (Francis Conway), and Joseph Heim.Dear sister of the late Joseph Torriero (Bobby). Loving Grandmom of Angelina Schmidt, Joseph Schmidt, Felicia Heim, William Schaller Jr., and great grandmother of Julianna, John, Sophia, and Lily, Jaslynn, Joey, Ava, and Ella.

Gloria was a proud United States Army veteran. She enjoyed trips to the casino to play the slot machines and relaxing with a cup of Dunkin Donuts and a cigarette. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life Saturday September 21, 2024 beginning at 9:30am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125 followed by her funeral service at 11am. Interment with military honors will take place at a later date.
