Gregory L. Golden~ Sunrise September 27, 1969- Sunset June 26, 2023

Gregory L. Golden "Greg" passed away unexpectedly at home on June 26, 2023, at the age of 53. He is the beloved son of William Golden (Nancy) and the late Bonnie Lee Benedict (late Robert). Cherished husband of Kathleen M. Golden (nee Pike). Devoted father of Thomas Remick (Jenna) and Matthew Remick. Loving Poppy to Thomas, Caleb, Roman, and Leighton. Dear brother of William Golden (Kathy), David Golden (Tracy), Steven Golden (Chrisma), and uncle of Kelly, Kevin, Tori, Josh, Tyler, and Sequoia. Sadly missed and forever loved by the Pike family. 

Greg was born in Philadelphia and resided in the Kensington and Fishtown neighborhoods of the city. He attended Kensington High School and graduated in 1987. After high school, Greg worked as an electrician and was a proud member of IBEW Local 98. He enjoyed watching baseball and football, fishing, golfing, camping and cooking. More than anything he cherished his time spent with family and friends. Greg was a devoted family man and would do anything for those he loved. One of his greatest pleasures was hosting a Christmas breakfast gathering for family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Saturday July 1, 2023 beginning at 9am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125 followed by his funeral service at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests and appreciates memorial contributions to the American Heart Association at the address below.
