Helen M. (Anderson) Minnucci

It is with profound sadness that the family of Helen M. Minnucci (nee Anderson) announces her passing on July 26, 2026, at the age of 54. Helen was born in Philadelphia on July 13, 1972 and was raised in St. Anne parish. She was a longtime resident of Port Richmond.

Helen was both the life of the party and the rock of her family. She loved to dance and sing, especially to freestyle music, and never hesitated to put on a concert right in her kitchen, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around her.

Family was always at the center of Helen’s life. While raising her daughter, Nicolette, she took great pride in caring for her home and preparing home-cooked meals for her family. Always very creative, she made most of her Halloween costumes and was always decorated for every holiday. Her door was always open—not only to Nicolette’s friends, but also to her nieces and nephews, who cherished spending time at Aunt Helen’s house. Whether they were dyeing Easter eggs or making arts and crafts, Helen made every gathering feel special. In recent years, she loved to attend Philadelphia Union games with her nephew Jacob.

She had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcomed, loved, and important. Selfless and generous, Helen would do anything for anyone, and the kindness she shared with family and friends will remain one of her greatest legacies.

Helen is the devoted mother of Nicolette Anderson. Cherished daughter of Kathleen Selser and the late Robert E. Anderson Sr. Dear sister of Robert E. Anderson Jr., Carol Heary (Steven), and Melissa Anderson. Loving aunt to Justin, John, Joshua, Jaden, Madison, Jacob, Logan, and great aunt to Autumn. Sadly missed by her furbaby Leo, her aunts, uncles, and cousins, all who loved her very much. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Monday August 3, 2026 beginning at 9am in St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19125 followed by her funeral mass at 11am. Interment private.
