Helen F. (Wiggins) Williams

Helen F. Williams (nee Wiggins) passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 89. She was born on November 8, 1936 to the late Herbert and Helen (Graessle) Wiggins. 

Helen enjoyed the simple things in life—getting her hair done, relaxing with a good word find book, and watching hockey or her favorite game shows. A true Philly girl, she never passed up a good cheesesteak. Helen also had a strong work ethic and worked for many years as a civilian contractor at the Naval Base. More than anything, though, she loved her family, who were the center of her world. ❤️

Helen is the devoted mother of Norman Scholl (Lynn), Pauline Matecki (John), Helen Myers (Fred), and Amber Leap (Kenny). Loving Grandmom of Darlene (Rick), Eddie, Norman (Melissa), John (Jen), Jeff (late Suzanne), Jennifer (Matt), and Michael. Sadly missed by her 13 great grandchildren including Chase, Robert, and Lily. Preceded in death by her great grandchildren Jazmine, Destinee, and Maximus and also her brothers and sisters. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Wednesday March 11, 2026 from 9-10:15am in St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by her funeral mass at 10:30am. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA.
