James J. LeBold

James J. LeBold of Wildwood, NJ formerly of Philadelphia, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2021. He is the beloved husband of the late Theresa M. (nee Garrison). Devoted father of James LeBold (Janet) and Jennifer LeBold. Loving Pop of Briana and Lil Jimmy. Dear brother of Michael LeBold, Steven LeBold (Kathy), and Kathy Sadowski (John). Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and extended family. 

James also known as “Big Jim” was born to the late Mrs. & Mr. George LeBold. He was born and raised in the Kensington area of Philadelphia where he met his beloved wife Theresa LeBold and raised their two beautiful children who he adored dearly. Jim was a hard worker, where he was reunited with his passion of baking at good old Wawa. When Jim wasn’t baking the buns he was enjoying time spent on his porch with an ice cold 30 pack and a “fatty”, AKA, a smoke. Family meant everything to Jim and there was nothing he enjoyed more then being  in their company telling his many many stories and listening to his music. Jim was definitely one of a kind and did it his way to the end. He will live on forever through his “peeps”. From the way he spoke, to the way he walked. He will always be remembered with a tooth pick in the mouth, cold beer in hand, and a smile on his face with  a interesting story to tell. Big Jim will always be with us as he embarks in his last chapter with his one true love who he created this beautiful crazy life with. 
 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Tuesday May 25, 2021 beginning at 9am in Nativity B.V.M Church (upper) 2535 E. Allegheny Ave. Philadelphia PA 19134. Funeral Mass 10:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
