'Doc' was born in Philadelphia to the late James and Jean Pizzo Watson. He passed unexpectedly at Jefferson Aria Hospital.
Jim drove a tractor trailer for over 60 years, and was a teamster. He loved old movies, boxing, and had a big hobby of working on cars. He enjoyed dancing to the golden oldies and spending summers by the pool with his family.
The family would like Doc to be remembered with this verse.
Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
Jim was the husband of the late Rita (Herron) Watson. Devoted father of James Watson, Jr. ( Helen ), Theresa Flem ( John). Michael Watson ( Chris Albright ).
