James F. Duccilli "Jim", age 59, passed away suddenly on May 7, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia on April 11, 1965 to the late Joseph and Regina (nee Gallagher) Duccilli.
Jim was raised in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. He attended St. Anne School and then North Catholic High School for Boys, where he graduated Class of 1982. At the young age of 17, he started working for Wannamaker's, first as a helper, and was then promoted to truck driver at the age of 21. Jim had a passion for fishing and enjoyed any time spent on his boat on the water. Jim and his wife made their second home at Green Holly Campground at the jersey shore, where they spent years making wonderful memories with their children.
Jim's greatest legacy is being an amazing father to his children. Despite any struggles he had, he loved them more than anything and was so very proud of them. Jim will be greatly missed and his family takes comfort that he is at peace and reunited in heaven with those who have gone before him.
Jim is the beloved husband of Denise M. (nee Aument). Devoted father of Angelina and James N. "Jimmy". Dear brother of Martin (Cathy), Regina Schwegel, Kevin, and the late Joseph. Loving son-in-law of Donna Rae and the late George "Steve" Aument. Brother-in-law of Marnie Loughrey (James Harrity) Tina Heilman (Matt), and the late Stephen Aument. Sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Tuesday May 14, 2024 from 7-9pm in the Hubert M.
