James "Jim" Malkowski

James Malkowski "Jim" of Coatesville, Pa formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away on July 15, 2020 at the age of 66. He is the beloved husband of Rose. Devoted father of Jimmy (Liza), Nicholas, Joey (Ashlie), Mary (Randy), and Heather (Mike). Loving Grandpop of Alayna, Jimmy, Nicholas, Natalia, Kaylee, Freddy, Mia, Maci, Myla, Leah, Ella, and Emma. Dear brother Bea Jones (late Bob), Roseann , Linda Pizza (Joe), Jerry (Anne Marie), Michael (Cindy), Denise Weiker (Tom), Buddy (Pat), and Theresa (Paul). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Walter and Beatrice; his sister Yvonne and his brothers Joseph, Sonny, Tommy, and Robert and his nephew Stephen.

Jim was a building engineer for the School District of Philadelphia until his retirement. He was an extremely hard worker who would do anything to provide for his wife and children. When he was not working he enjoyed being with his family and relaxing with a Coors light and a Marlboro. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather who was devoted to his family. Jim would do anything for anyone and  loved to make people laugh. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Monday July 20, 2020 from 9:45-10:45 in St. Bartholomew Church 5600 Jackson Street Philadelphia PA 19125 (parking behind church off of Cheltenham Ave.) Funeral Mass 11am.  We ask that all attendees wear masks and adhere to the social distance guidelines put in place by the church.
