James “Jim” E. Schwoerer

James E. Schwoerer “Jim” passed away at home on April 14, 2022 at the age of 73. He is the cherished son of the late Ambrose and Mae (nee Buck). Devoted father of Vanessa. Loving husband and friend of June. Dear brother of Maryann McCole and the late John “Jack” (Pat). Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, especially his goddaughter Michelle Gallagher (John “Porky”), his nephew Sean McCole, and his great niece Lauren Mae Gallagher, who fondly called him her “Uncie”. Also survived by his dear friends Jim Tatar and Denny Martin. Jim worked as a project manager for NAO Inc. for 45 years. He started there at the young age of 18 and worked there throughout his career. He was also a longtime member and treasurer for the Windthorst Literary Association. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Wednesday April 20, 2022 from 7-9 pm and Thursday April 21, 2022 from 9-10am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral Mass 10:30am St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125. Interment Northwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Windthorst Literary Association 3150 Gaul Street Philadelphia PA 19134.
