James “Jimmy” Haines


October 4, 1962 – November 21, 2025

James Haines “Jimmy” 63, born and raised in Fishtown, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025 after a long battle with Esophageal cancer. Beloved son of Marge Benner, who remained loving and devoted to his care, the late James Haynes, & stepson of Howie Benner. Loving father of James, Kimberly, Nicholas and Andrew. Dear brother of John, Margie, the late Michael, Barbara, and Katherine.

A skilled and hardworking contractor, Jimmy took pride in his craft and in helping others. His family extends heartfelt gratitude to Joanne, Cheryl, and Pam of the Universal Institute for their exceptional care and compassion. Jimmy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.
