It is with profound sadness that the family of Jannett Mason (nee Jaggers) announces her passing on November 16, 2025, after courageously battling her health for some time. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Charles and Anna (nee Mooney) Jaggers and was a lifelong proud resident of Kensington.
Jannett was devoted to her family. She was always there for the people she loved and never forgot the moments that mattered most. She never missed a birthday call, always making sure everyone felt remembered and cherished. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat—especially at Golden Corral—and playing her numbers, particularly when it meant spending time with her family. She also loved her dog, JJ, who brought her comfort and companionship.
The family finds peace knowing that Jannett is now reunited with her beloved husband, Spike. Her presence, warmth, and thoughtfulness will be deeply missed.
Jannett is the beloved wife of the late John J. Mason Jr. "Spike". Devoted mother of April Wildonger (Steve), Jannett Mason (Wayne), and John J. Mason III (Valerie). Loving Nanny of Stephanie, Steven Jr., Christopher, Kimberly, April, Joseph, Anastasia, Aaliyah, LJ, Aryannah, Aubrey, Nolan, and great Nanny of Yeh-Yea, Yusuf, Raul, Nicholas, Isaiah, Boston, Xavier, Kassidy, and the late Baby April. Dear sister of Anna Pickford (Tom), Ralph Jaggers, Albert Jaggers (Kelly), Denise Wildonger (Billy), and the late Charles Jaggers, George Jaggers, Donnie Jaggers, and Ellen Tomczak. Sadly missed by her furbaby TJ and her many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Friday November 21, 2025 beginning at 3pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by her funeral service at 5pm.
