Jean Aikens

Jean Aikens went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2020. She was 78 years old. Formerly of the East Kensington neighborhood in Philadelphia, Jean lived for the last years of her life in Bucks County. She is the beloved wife of the late James Aikens. Devoted mother of Frank Aikens (Alice), Jenny Carr (late James), and James III (Christine). Loving Grandmom of Philip Aikens, Frankie Aikens Jr., Jennifer Aikens, Ruth Ann Aikens, Jimmy Aikens IV, Kristin Aikens, Ryne Carr, Jason Carr, Kelly Ann Aikens, Tiffany Carr, Robin Kirchner, Justin Carr, Miranda Waters, and Nahtanha Waters. Great Grandmother of Brianna, Felicity and Evan Aikens; Shawn Dylan McGrath; Trinity, Olivia, Walter, and Catalaya Crawford; Gavin, Wyatt, Basil, and Tessa Carr; and her many other loving great grandchildren. Dear sister of Francine Cirelly. Sadly missed by the Stahl and Mezzico families and her entire extended family. 
 
There will be a private viewing and funeral for her family at 1pm on Tuesday May 26, 2020 in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Her funeral service will begin at 3pm.
