Jeanette M. Hoffman

Jeanette M. Hoffman passed away peacefully at home on November 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old. Devoted mother of Jeanette Wiley (Raymond), Diane Tirabasso (Tony), Harry "Hairso" Hoffman, and the late Joseph Hoffman (late Laura). Loving Nanny of Billy, Joseph, Tiffiany, Jacob, Gabriella, and great grandmother of Joseph, Ryan, and Gregory "Cupcake", and Jacob. Dear sister of Josephine Trabold and the late Harry Kiefer, Buddy Kiefer, and Dorothy Carroll. 

Jeanette was a hard worker and always provided for her family as a factory worker. After her children were grown, she continued working as a lunch lady at various schools in the area such as Holy Name, Penn Treaty and Webster. She liked the simple things in life such as coffee, her cigarettes, and watching her shows CSI and Law and Order.  Jeanette was always "in fashion" and loved to dress up. She had a beautiful collection of clothing and shoes and had her hair done every Saturday. She also loved to dance, especially ballroom style and the jitterbug and she was a great dancer. Her greatest joy came from her family and she loved them with all of her heart. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing  Thursday November 5th from 7-9pm and Friday November 6th from 8:30-9:30am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral Mass 10am St. Anne Church 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia PA 19125. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. 

We ask that all those attending services wear a mask and maintain social distancing both in the funeral home and the church to keep everyone safe during Covid-19
