Jeanne was born in Philadelphia to the late William and Dorothea Bruhl Lord. She passed away at Temple University Hospital after a brief illness.
Jeanne had many pleasures in life. She enjoyed her crafts, loved to dance and listen to music. She was an excellant soup maker, taking pride in her navy bean and chicken noodle soups. An avid movie fan "Bridges of Madison County" and "Goodfellas", were among her favorites. She would quote lines from the movie and knew the characters and who was 'whacked' by who in Goodfellas.
She enjoyed spending time at the shore and at her campground. She was an animal lover and they were attracted to her also. Jeanne enjoyed the holidays and dressed for the occasion.
She is the beloved wife of Robert, devoted mother of Jeanne Sweet, Bernadette ( Tim Alicea ), Robert, Jr. and the late Dawn. Dear sister of Robert Lord ( Emily ) and Rose Miskosky ( Tony ). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Brandon, Justin, Shayne, Timothy and Maranda and her great granddaughter Aubree.
Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Mass, on Saturday February 15, 2020 at 11 AM, in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Fishtown, where friends may gather after 9:30 AM. Int Palmer Cemetery.
