Jesus "Tony" Rodriguez

Tony was born in Lugar Naciemento, Puerto Rico to the late Jesus and Higinia (Herminia) Rodriguez, raised by Raymundo and Hermania. He passed away in Einstein Medical Center, ironically on his favorite holiday Christmas Day.   He relocated to the United States when he was 2 years old.  He was a self-employed auto mechanic. 

One of his favorite past times was spending time at the riverside at Linden Avenue.  Tony was loved by all and loved everyone, he was always lending a helping hand.  One of his favorite places to volunteer was Rock Ministries on Kensington Avenue and Philabundance  food bank.  He also enjoyed the 'Ponies" ( but don't tell Mary ).

He is the beloved life partner for 18 years of Mary Foley, devoted father of Tony Rodriguez Levering ( Stacy ), Traci Klauber, Stacey La Scala ( Michael) and the late Nicole Neumann. He is sadly missed by his 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and his numerous nieces and nephews.  Tony was predeceased by 1 brother Raymundo  and 2 sisters Evelyn and Amarilis. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and share memories and stories of Tony on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from  1 PM to 3 PM,  at McELVARR FUNERAL HOME  1415-17 East Susquehanna Avenue, Fishtown.  Further arrangements will be private.
