John M. Butler

John M. Butler passed away suddenly on October 29, 2021, at the age of 44. He is the beloved husband of Sherri (nee Pomroy). Devoted father of James, Dylan, Zachariah, and John Jr.  Loving Pop of James and Kaiden. Cherished son of John and Catherine (nee Bowe). Dear brother of Jason (Amber), the late Frankie Mitchell, and uncle of Jason, Ryan, and Logan. Sadly missed by his extended family.

John worked as a plumber and contractor for Shegda Construction, a job that he has worked at and loved for the last 25 years. In his downtime he loved fishing, camping, and riding dirt bikes, especially when that meant time spent with his family. He loved his family more than anything. John will always be remembered for his positive attitude and warm smile. He had a way of making everyone feel special, even on days when he struggled. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him and will never be forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Saturday November 6, 2021 beginning at 9:30am in the Hubert m. McBride Funeral home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service and words of remembrance 11am. Interment Greenmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests and appreciates any donations towards his final expenses.
