John I. Cordell passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was 53 years old. Beloved son of Patricia (née Allen) and the late Raymond Rodriguez. Devoted father of Jonathan Cordell(Jayna), Heather Cordell, Samantha Cordell, and Lauren Homan. Loving grandfather of Raiden. Dear brother of Patricia Wesley (Eric), Michelle Cordell (Mike), Renee Cimini (Andy), Raymond Rodriguez(Wendy), and Craig Rodriguez(Patrick). Sadly missed by his girlfriend Michelle Graves, and his nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life Thursday August 13, 2020 beginning at 7pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service 8:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests and appreciates any donations towards his final expenses.
