John R. Cram Jr.
April 28, 1966 ~ January 12, 2024 (age 57) 57 Years Old
John R. Cram Jr., age 57, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 12, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia to Kathleen M. (nee McNasby) and the late John R. Cram Sr.
John grew up in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and remained there until moving to Fishtown. John was an athletic kid who played various sports during his childhood. This love of sports would continue throughout his life as he became a fan of watching sports on TV, especially the Philadelphia Eagles.
John was known as "Mr. Clean" to his family as he liked things very clean and organized and was often seen outside sweeping his pavement. He also loved to take his walks around the neighborhood and listen to his music. Some of his favorite bands were AC/DC and the Eagles. More than anything, John loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, whether going out to eat or at family gatherings. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
John is survived by his loving mother Kathleen (nee McNasby), his sisters Kathleen Cram and Jacqueline Chrzanowski (Kenneth), and his brother James Cram. He is the loving uncle of Heidi Boggs, Walter Fisher, Joseph Fisher, Sarah Cram, Rachel Cram, MaryKate Sickel, and CJ Sickel. Sadly missed by his great nieces and nephews and his extended family. He is preceded in death by his father John R. Cram Sr., his sister Mary Cram, and his nephew David Cram.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Sunday January 21, 2024 beginning at 10:30am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Funeral service 12pm. In honor of John’s love of sports, the family encourages anyone attending to wear their favorite sports gear or Eagles shirts.
