John Kulpa Obituary
John was born in Philadelphia to the late John B. and Blanche Nagle Kulpa. He passed away unexpectedly at Thomas Jefferson Neuroscience Hospital.
Born and raised in St. Michael's Parish, Second and Jefferson, he attended elementary school there and went on to North Catholic Boys High School.
John worked for a number of companies in the area. He was a painter and hardware installer for the former Atlas Casket Co. He also worked at Robert Bruce Clothes, Girard Medical Center and Bachman Eyeglass manufacturers.
He was an avid Phillies fan and followed the Miami Dolphins. He will be missed by his fur babies Blu and Tilley.
He is the beloved husband of Kathryn D. McManus Kulpa, devoted father of Kathryn A. Kulpa, John F. Kulpa, Jennifer M. Kulpa and Gregg A. Kulpa.
Loving pop pop of Angela, Gregg and Ashleigh. Dear brother of Patricia Ditoranto, Joseph Kulpa and Geraldine Leake. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Funeral Mass on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 10 AM, in Saint Michael's Church, 2nd and Jefferson Sts.
