John Joseph Osinski, Jr.

Passed away on August 7, 2018.  He is the beloved husband of  Ethel ( nee McNaull ). Devoted father of  Ethel Scheible ( Robert ) and John D. Osinski ( Barbara ). Brother of Steven Osinski ( the late Dolores ) and Joan Heitman ( Harry ). He was predeceased by 4 brothers.  Sadly missed by his 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his nieces and nephews. John was a proud United States Army Veteran, serving during the Korean and Viet Nam Wars era. He served as Junior Vice-Commander of the Elm Tree Post 88 of the American Legion.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, August 10, 2018 at 9:30 AM, in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-017 East Susquehanna Avenue, Fishtown. where his Service of Christian Burial will begin at 11 AM.  Interment with Military Honors to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requesting memorial contributions the The Shriners Hospital for Children of Philadelphia, 3551 North Broad St, Phila Pa  19140.
