John H. Tole

On October 31, 2024, John H. Tole of Philadelphia passed away peacefully. Beloved companion of Linda Clesi. Cherished father of Gina (Charles) Morrone and John (Christine) Tole. The best PopPop to Brandon, Jack, Abigail and Ryan. Loving brother to Ann Cavanaugh (Ed), Mary, Margaret and long-time friend to Barbara.  John proudly served in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He had a 38-year career at Bell Telephone/ Verizon where he made a lifetime of treasured friends. He was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Northampton Valley Country Club where you’ve probably heard he shot a hole-in-one.

Relatives and friends are invited to John's viewing and funeral on Wednesday November 13, 2024 beginning at 9am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Funeral service 11am. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery West Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a charity which benefits first responders and those in the military who continue to serve. Donations can be sent to 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, NY 10306 or Tunnel to Towers Foundation. This charity was near and dear to John's heart.
