It is with broken hearts that the family John R. Abrams Jr. announces his sudden passing on February 11, 2026.
John devoted over 25 years of his life to his career as a union painter. His exceptional work ethic and natural talent made him not only a respected co-worker, but also a trusted mentor who took great pride in teaching his craft to others — even his own brother. He believed in doing things the right way, and that dedication showed in every project he touched.
Outside of work, John was passionate about the things he loved. He was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, cheering them on with unwavering loyalty. He was also a true foodie — whether he was preparing delicious home-cooked meals for his family or enjoying date nights with Vanessa at their favorite spots, savoring good food, drinks, and time together.
To know Johnny was to love him. He asked for very little for himself and instead gave endlessly to those around him. He was a hero to his sons and took special joy in spoiling his little girl. He was a loving, devoted partner to his wife and his siblings always knew they could count on him.
John was simply an all-around good man — someone who would do anything for anyone, a loyal friend, a dedicated family man, and a steady presence in the lives of so many. His legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
John is the beloved husband of Vanessa (nee Reinert). Devoted father of Brenden, Evan, and Emma. Cherished son of the late John (Jillian) and Pamela (nee Heil) and son in law of Glenn and Paula Reinert. Dear brother of Derek Abrams (Kimberly), Keith Torres, Michael Evans, Jane Leck (Tristan), and Charles Abrams and brother in law of Todd Reinert (Kristen). Sadly missed by his 6 nephews, 4 nieces, and his extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Saturday February 21, 2026 from 9-10:15am in St. Charles Borromeo Church 1731 Hulmeville Rd. Bensalem, PA 19020. Funeral mass 10:30am. Interment to follow Beechwood Cemetery, Bensalem.
