Jose Dones

Jose Dones, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 23, 2024. He is the beloved husband of Dawn Fox. Devoted father of Alyssa Fox-Wollaver (James). Loving Pop to James "JJ". Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, his extended family, and his fur baby Macho.

Jose was always the life of the party. He loved to sing and dance, or just sit out on his step and be around his neighbors. He would talk to anyone and everyone who would pass by. He also loved to watch Family Feud and Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles and Phillies, play the lottery, and drink out of his Dunkin Donuts cup, not matter what he was drinking. Jose was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all those in his life. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Thursday August 29, 2024 beginning at 10:30am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by his funeral service at 12pm.
