Joseph Falco, Jr. Obituary

Joe was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather whose life was defined by love, loyalty, and family.  His presence, wisdom, and humor will live on through them.

A lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, Joe proudly cheered for the Phillies and the Eagles and was fortunate enough to witness his beloved Eagles win two Super Bowls—moments that brought him immense joy.

At the center of Joe’s life was his wife, to whom he was married for over 50 years. She was his entire world, and together they shared a love that was the true meaning of partnership, devotion, and lifelong commitment. Their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them.

When Joe wasn’t watching a game, he could often be found enjoying his favorite TV Land classics, including M.A.S.H., The Dick Van Dyke Show, Leave it to Beaver, and The Munsters. These simple pleasures brought him comfort and happiness, much like the time he spent with those he loved most.

Joe will be missed more than words can express, but his love, memories, and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

Beloved father of Joseph E. Falco III (Bridget) and Leeann McMichael (Christopher), loving poppy of Brittany, Jessica Bickelman(John), Joseph IV, Colleen, Payton Falco, Nicholas and Benjamin McMichael. Great grand poppy of John Bickelman, Amelia Falco and Reese Bickelman. Brother of the late Kathleen Swanson. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral on Wednesday December 17, 2025 beginning at 9AM in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, FISHTOWN. Funeral Mass will be at 11AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church. Joe will be laid to rest with his beloved Anne immediately following at Oakland Cemetery.
