Joyce Kober went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on February 28, 2022 at the age of 77. She passed away at her home from natural causes. Joyce recommitted her life to the Lord through Baptism in 2011.
Joyce resided in Florida the past 5 years of her life, after living 30 plus years in Levittown. Joyce was the pillar of strength and dependability to her family. She has a strong work ethic and worked most of her life outside the home in various occupations, retiring as an electronic component assembler in Levittown. After retirement, she decided to get a part time job at Sesame Place for fun. She suffered great losses of her husband and son to cancer, the loss of two sisters and was the home caretaker to her mother until her death. Despite these losses, sadness and grief, she carried on and was always available to her family and friends to lend a sympathetic ear and had a generous heart. She loved family and friends and was our Rock !
Joyce is the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Blackiston Hopkins, faithful wife to the late Eddie, devoted mother to her precious son, the late Eric and daughter in law Shelly. Loving Grammy to her one and only granddaughter Kiersten, who was the love of her life. Dear sister to Edna, Joann and the late Pumpkin and the late Sarah. A loving and caring aunt to all the nieces and nephews of her beloved sisters and extended families.
Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service on Wednesday March 9, 2022, at 10 AM, at Oakland Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Eddie.
