Karen A. (Graham) Schwab

Karen A. Schwab (nee Graham) passed away peacefully on October 11, 2020 with her family at her bedside. She was 4 1/2 years post lung transplant. She is the beloved wife of William "Billy". Devoted mother of Barbara Ann (Timothy Zemczak). Cherished daughter of Dolores and Barry Famous and the late Robert Graham. Dear sister of Debbie Gravinese (Dean), Barbara Myers (Art), Alice Mancini (Kevin), and Bobby Graham (Laura). Loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by her mother-in-law, Mary Schwab, and the entire Schwab family. 

Karen will be deeply missed by all those who had the benefit of knowing her. Whether it was making her clients as beautiful on the outside as they were on the inside or entertaining her guests down the shore, her true happy place, with her husband Billy. Karen was one of five children, was mom's favorite, and made it known. She had a competitive spirit and lived up to her Scorpio traits. She was brave, passionate, stubborn, and a true friend. Her loyalty, love, generosity, and commitment to her family and friends was unwavering with her daughter, Barbara Ann, being her pride and joy. She always surrounded herself with  her nieces and nephews and their kids and was their biggest fan. While her life was cut short, her memory will live on in our hearts forever!

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Thursday 7-9pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125 and Friday from 9-10:15am in St. Anne Church (upper) 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral Mass 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, and to honor Karen's generous heart, you may make a donation to the Gift of Life Donor Program 401 N. 3rd Street Philadelphia PA 19123.

We ask that all those attending services wear a mask and maintain social distancing. Please adhere to safety measures put in place by the funeral home and church to keep everyone safe during the Covid 19 pandemic.
