Kathleen passed away suddenly on July 19th, 2020 at the age of 59. Kathy was born on April 30th, 1961 in Philadelphia to the late Marie and Fredrick Fuller. She grew up in the Nicetown area but lived in Fishtown for the majority of her life. She is the beloved life partner of Anthony Burton. Devoted mother of George, Andrew and the late Amy. Loving grandmother of Alyssa, Kurt, Jaelynn, George Jr., Wayne, Joseph, and the late Andrew Jr. Cherished great grandmother of Jaxon. Dear sister of Marie, Margaret (Peggy), Michael, and the late Fredrick and Joseph. Kathy attended Little Flower High School For Girls and had a strong relationship with God. She loved traveling, cooking, swimming, clowns, bingo nights, old school rock music, and most importantly spending time with her family and friends. Kathy was a devoted mother and loved her role as "Mom Mom" more than anything else. She treasured her grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She cared deeply for her family, neighbors and friends. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help. Kathy will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. Her life was a living example of her favorite bible verse, “Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to accept the things I can and Wisdom to know the difference."
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life July 23, 2020 beginning at 10 am in the McElvarr Funeral Home 1415-17 E. Susquehanna Ave Philadelphia, PA 19125.
