Kathleen T. (Palmer) Shepherd

Kathleen was born in Philadelphia to the late Jonas and  Catherine O'Neill Palmer.  She took her last breath on Sunday July 26, 2020 at approximately 6:07 PM in Pennsylvania Hospital. 

Kathleen was such a beautiful person inside and out.  She had a heart of gold. She left a loving impression on everyone she encountered and after a while they would call her "MOM"

She always kept a smile on her face and her beautiful blue eyes would receive compliments everywhere she went.  She enjoyed family time, bingo, arts and crafts and she also loved going to the beach. Holidays were her favorite. Her family described her as the 'strongest woman we know', due to her overcoming multiple odds. Her smile and laugh will be dearly missed. She was a graduate of Hallahan HS for Girls.

Kathleen leaves behind 3 daughters, Kristy Pope ( Jermaine ), Jacqueline Shepherd-Dixon ( Willis ) and Kathleen Shepherd. Her grandchildren Ericka, Jermaine, Nathaniel, Kevin, Olivia, Shawn and Nicholas. Her great grandson Xzavier.  Sister of Michael Palmer ( Marie ) and the late Joseph Palmer.  She will be missed by a whole lot of hearts she touched her 63 years she shared here. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Sunday, August 2, 2020 between 6 and 8 PM in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 East Susquehanna Ave., Fishtown and again on Monday August 3, 2020 in  9:30 AM until her Funeral Mass in St. Anne's Church, 2328 East Lehigh Ave, Phila   19125     Further Arrangements will be private.
