Kristin E. Aikens

Kristin E. Aikens, age 39, sadly passed away on November 25, 2024. She is the devoted mother to Christian. Beloved daughter of James Aikens (Kristine) and Kelly Roper (Ted). Dear sister of James "Jimmy" (Jessica), Justin (Jenna), Shane, and Michaela (Joseph). Loving aunt to Kyleigh, Ethan, Leilani, Savannah, and Foster. Sadly missed by her many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Kristin was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. As a child, she loved to play sports, especially soccer, and also attended dance class. Kristin was a very creative and imaginative person who enjoyed arts and crafts, and making beautiful things. She later cultivated these talents while attending beauty school. Although Kristin struggled in life, she always remained a kind and thoughtful person who would do anything for anyone. This included spending her last dollar to buy a gift for someone she loved, especially her son. She will be greatly missed but her family takes comfort that she is being reunited in heaven with those who have gone before her, especially her Mom-Mom. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life on Monday December 9, 2024 beginning at 6:30pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Prayers and words of remembrance will begin at 8pm.
