Kristine (Sturges) Aikens

Kristine Aikens (nee Sturges), age 56, passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. She is the beloved wife of James A. Aikens III. Devoted mother of Justin (Jenna Deloria) and Gram of Christian. Loving stepmother to Jimmy and the late Kristen. Cherished daughter of Patricia and the late Joseph Sturges. Dear sister of Thomas Sturges and the late John, Joseph, James, and Steven Sturges. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. 

Kristine was deeply devoted to her family and cherished every moment spent with them. A loving wife and devoted mother, she placed her family at the center of her life and gave of herself wholeheartedly. She was a woman of remarkable strength and grace who faced life’s challenges with quiet courage. Even during her illness, Kristine rarely complained, choosing instead to focus on those she loved and the blessings in her life. Her resilience, selflessness, and unwavering love will be remembered always by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Saturday July 18, 2026 beginning at 11am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by her funeral service at 12:30pm. Interment private.
